"Testing" Raspberry Pi 2 ThinClient with FreeRDP

Yup! I like to make test like that :)
Sorry for the video quality, my phone is quite old and recording a projector is a pain. I didnt include audio in the video but audio redirection is working very well!


Projector res is 1920x1080, Smite in windowed mode at 1280x720.

    1. RDPing to an Intel i5, 8Gb RAM, Radeon 7850 and Windows 8.1.
      Next image will be released next week, i have just to tune some options and include NX Client for armhf

  2. Hello,

    we are trying to use the pi 2 as RDP Thin Client. The performance is far better as pi 1, but it still lags a bit while browsing websites. Are there any ways to get a better performance for browsing? Overclock,sure. Maybe by compiling xfreerdp? We dont need audio, just video, mouse and keybourd input.

    many, many thanks. The VMWare Horizon Viewclient is working like a charm!
    Great job! I was waiting a long time for this.

    Just a question: how do I force the sound on the 3.5mm jack?

    2. The VMware client is included in the distro. Backend is also VMware.

      I would to use it in home enviroment. My iMac will be the server, Windows XP will be the thin client for my son.
